Episode #1 – Person-Centred Care and the Use of Language with Kirrily Chambers
The first episode of the Person-Centred Care Mini-Series the host of the show Jan Alford is joined by pharmacist CDE, Kirrily Chambers, the Jan Baldwin National CDE of the Year in 2016.
This episode will introduce you to the concept of person-centred care and some issues around the use of language and how these issues impact on people with diabetes and their health outcomes. We also talk about how these issues fit into person-centred care practice.

Episode #3 – Person-Centred Care and Perspectives of People with Diabetes with Rachelle Ward
In the third and last episode of the Person-Centred Centred Care Mini-Series Jan Alford is joined by Rachelle Ward, a mother of a child with type 1 diabetes.
This podcast addresses the first eight of the ten person-centred principles that relate to health care policy and services and how people with diabetes and their carers perceive these principals. The episode addresses how health professionals can better work with people with diabetes as a team in interpreting how these principles work in consultations.
